2026 SHS placement results to be released tonight at 10pm

The Computerised School Selection and Placement System results for the 2026/27 academic year will be released at 22:00 GMT on Friday, September 4, the Ministry of Education has announced.

Students, parents and guardians will be able to check their placement and admission details through the official CSSPS portal at www.cssps.gov.gh.

The ministry advised the public to rely only on information published through the official channels of the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service,

Technical and Vocational Education and Training authorities and CSSPS.

It urged students and parents to check the portal promptly after the results are released.

The announcement provides a definite release time for candidates and families awaiting information about school placements for the new academic year.

The supplied material does not explain what students should do if they are not placed, encounter errors or cannot access the portal.

It also does not state whether candidates will require a placement checker code or provide details about any alternative placement procedure.

Students and parents should avoid sharing personal information with individuals or unofficial websites claiming that they can alter school placements.

Any further guidance on placement challenges, admissions or changes to a student’s placement is expected to come from the Ministry of Education, GES, TVET or CSSPS through their official channels.
